1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Newsipal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Newsipal is a personalized daily briefing service that uses artificial intelligence to generate customized content based on your preferences. The Service includes:
- AI-generated daily briefings tailored to your selected topics
- Customizable sections and content types
- Delivery scheduling options
- Access to templates and recent briefing history
3. Account Registration
To use Newsipal, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Newsipal currently offers a monthly subscription plan. Subscription terms depend in part on where you purchase:
- Free Trial: Eligible new users may activate a 7-day free trial when they turn on their Nip. No payment method is required to start the trial.
- Trial Conversion: After the trial ends, you must actively choose a paid subscription to continue paid access. The trial does not automatically convert into a paid plan.
- Billing Providers: Web subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Android in-app subscriptions are processed through Google Play.
- Cross-Platform Access: If you sign in with the same Newsipal account, one active subscription is recognized across supported platforms. You do not need separate subscriptions for the web app and Android app.
- Renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically on their billing cycle unless cancelled through the provider that billed you before renewal.
- Refunds: Refund eligibility, if any, is governed by our Refund Policy, applicable law, and any platform or payment-provider rules that apply to your purchase.
- Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with notice to existing subscribers before the change takes effect.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel renewal at any time through the provider that billed you or by contacting support for help finding the right cancellation path. Upon cancellation:
- Web subscriptions can be managed through the Newsipal or Lemon Squeezy customer portal, and Android subscriptions can be managed through Google Play subscription management
- You will retain access until the end of your current paid billing period
- No further renewal charges will be made after cancellation takes effect
- Your subscription access remains available across supported platforms until that paid access period ends, as long as you are signed in to the same account
- Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account or stored data; if you want your account deleted, use the account deletion flow or contact support
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Service
7. AI-Generated Content
The briefings generated by Newsipal are created using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies
- Content should not be relied upon as the sole source for important decisions
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
- You are responsible for verifying information from AI-generated briefings

13. Governing Law
