Refund Policy

Summary

Newsipal generally follows a no-refund policy, except where refunds are required by law or platform rules. You can cancel renewal at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Our Policy

Due to the digital nature of Newsipal and the immediate access to AI-generated content upon subscription, we generally do not offer refunds for subscription payments billed directly by us on the web. Purchases made through Google Play may also be subject to Google Play's refund rules and processes. This policy applies to:

  • Monthly subscription payments
  • Partial billing periods

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law or the terms of the platform that billed you.

Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial specifically so you can fully evaluate Newsipal before committing to a paid subscription. During this trial:

  • You have complete access to all features
  • No credit card or payment information is required
  • The trial simply expires after 7 days — you are never automatically charged
  • After the trial ends, you must actively choose to subscribe to continue using the service

We encourage you to use the full trial period to ensure Newsipal meets your needs before subscribing.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Web Purchases: Open the Plan page and click "Manage subscription" to open the Lemon Squeezy customer portal
  • Android Purchases: Open the Plan page and use "Manage subscription" to open Google Play subscription management
  • Support: Open a support ticket
  • Cross-Platform Note: The same paid subscription is recognized across supported platforms when you sign in with the same account, but cancellation must be handled through the provider that originally billed you

What Happens When You Cancel

When you cancel your subscription:

  • You will not be charged for future renewal periods after cancellation takes effect
  • You will retain full access to Newsipal until the end of your current billing period
  • Your daily briefings will continue to be generated until your access expires
  • Your paid access continues across supported platforms until that billing period ends, so long as you sign in with the same account
  • Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or stored data; if you want your account removed, use the deletion flow in the app or contact support

Exceptional Circumstances

While we maintain a no-refund policy, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe you have a valid case for a refund, please open a support ticket with details of your situation. For purchases billed by Google Play, you may also need to use Google's refund or support channels. We review direct-billed requests on a case-by-case basis.

Examples of situations we may consider:

  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors
  • Extended service outages preventing use of the product
  • Charges made after a cancellation request was submitted

Current Plans

Newsipal currently offers a monthly subscription plan. An active subscription follows your account across supported platforms, although billing management and refund handling remain with the provider that processed the purchase. Additional plan options may be introduced in the future.
