Delete your Newsipal account
This page lets you permanently delete your Newsipal account and the data associated with it. Newsipal is developed and operated by the Newsipal team, the developer listed on the app's Google Play store page.
How to request deletion

Sign in to your Newsipal account
Use the same account you use in the Newsipal app so we can verify it belongs to you.

Request a verification code
We email a 6-digit code to your account address. It expires after 10 minutes.

Enter the code to confirm
Once verified, your account and associated data are permanently deleted and any active subscription is cancelled.
Delete my account
Sign in with the account you want to delete. We'll send the verification code to its email address.
Data that is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity (email address)
- Profile and preferences (name, AI tone, delivery schedule, filters)
- Your nip configuration and saved templates
- Generated daily briefings and reading history
- Bookmarks and saved items
- Briefing feedback (likes/dislikes and reviews)
- Referral records linked to your account
Data that may be retained
- Billing, payment and tax records held by our payment providers (Lemon Squeezy or Google Play), kept only as required by law and accounting obligations
- Limited security and abuse-prevention logs, retained for a short period and then removed
Retention period
Your account and associated application data are removed from our primary systems immediately upon confirmation. Records that we are legally required to keep (such as billing, payment and tax records held by our payment providers) are retained only for the period required by applicable law and accounting obligations, and are then deleted. Backups are rotated and overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days.
